About me

Hello dear visitor, I’m Hanna Rotenshtraich, a 44-year-old coach, trainer, and passionate advocate of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). I’m married and a mother of two, and my journey into compassionate communication began five years ago with a deep desire to express myself from a place of inner peace rather than anger, sadness, irritation, or disappointment.

I realized that when emotions take over, our message often comes out in ways we don’t truly intend. This led me on a quest to find a way of communicating that fosters understanding and connection. You might wonder—does this have to do with language? Absolutely! Not just one specific language, but every language on our planet.

My turning point came when I saw my two-year-old daughter sitting on a carpet scattered with toys, all mixed together. I felt a wave of anger and frustration, which took me by surprise. She was only two—how could I be upset with her for this? I questioned my reaction, wondering why I felt this way. Thoughts crossed my mind, like "Maybe it’s because my mother used to get angry at me when my room was messy." But that answer didn’t fully satisfy me.

Then, whether by chance or fate, I came across The Montessori Toddler by Simone Davies, where she introduced the concept of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). In that moment, I knew I had discovered something life-changing—an approach that not only transformed the way I communicate with my children and loved ones but also became my life's work.

Today, I help individuals, parents, and professionals develop deeper connections, resolve conflicts peacefully, and communicate with clarity and empathy. Whether through coaching, workshops, or training sessions, I guide people in discovering the power of compassionate communication to create more harmonious relationships.

Let’s explore together how compassionate communication can bring more peace and understanding into your life!
